Our London HQ became a hive of activity on Friday evening as a gathering of FRUKT guests huddled together to witness an intimate live performance from our new Brooklyn based friends, Savoir Adore.
Having recently worked with the hotly-tipped group on a project in NYC, we decided to invite them down to showcase their unique sound - once described by singer Deidre Munro as “adventure wave” - in the heart of our office.
The band treated us to a selection of tracks from their repertoire, including ‘Loveliest Creature’ and the rather brilliant slice of ethereal pop that is ‘Dreamers’, followed by beer, socialising and even a spot of post gig Jenga. You can check out more photos from the event on our Facebook page.
The lush Savoir Adore sound is already proving to be in high demand amongst brands, with the band recently providing the soundtrack for a Tide commercial during the much coveted Oscars ad break. The ad formed part of a download promotion in conjunction with the P&G owned brand and recognition service Shazam, which enabled viewers to get their hands on a unique cover version of the Men without Hats track ‘Pop Goes the World’ (see video below).
