FRUKT in translation

FRUKT recently played host to 15 students from the RMA Music Business and Entertainment Industry Management course in Russia, after a glowing recommendation from the founder of the Great Escape festival (off the back of our ‘Field Work’ report into brand activity at music festivals).

Eager to learn about the live music business and with a course focus on festivals, the students descended on the UK for a whirlwind tour of the cream of the UK’s music business, meeting with a variety of labels and influential players.

Fresh from learning about the airborne antics of Iron Maiden from the group’s manager, the students dropped in at FRUKT, where Giles Fitzgerald (Head of Trends and Insight) and Natasha Billing (Head of Music Business Services) led them through the finer workings of the brands and music landscape.

Big thanks to interpreter Sofia Bak, who managed to turn our musings on the future of brand activity in music into fluent Russian over the course of the afternoon.
