Jack Daniels is celebrating its birthday in September with an exclusive gig at London’s Clapham Grand celebrating the brand’s Tennessee heritage.
Ellie Goulding, Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley, and Tennessee guitar legend Duane Eddy will take to the stage to “bring the spirit of Tennessee to life” with new and unheard collaborations of Americana classics as part of the brand’s birthday celebrations.
The event forms part of wider activity in music supported by the barnd, such as the JD Set which serve up one off intimate gigs at hand picked venues. The most recent efforts seeing bands such as the Mecury Music prize nominated I am Kloot, Tim Burgess and The Pippetes reinterpreting music from the Buzzcocks, Madonna and The Human league
