JVC’s pop up music festival

JVC, the Japanese technology company, is teaming up with Australian model, presenter, DJ and host of MTV Style, Ruby Rose on a new pop up music festival in Sydney this summer, entitled ‘Bustival’.

Bustival, does exactly what it says on the tin, in that it is a music festival contained within a travelling bus, which will be curated by Ruby (who will also DJ) as it make appearances across the Summer festival season.

The music element is designed to be a collaborative one, bringing fans into the heart of the action, with Ruby’s Twitter followers invited to co-create the experience along the way, from the music mix Ruby plays to the various destinations the bus visits.

It’s the first time the technology brand has partnered up with a celebrity of this stature in Australia and JVC is quick to explain the collaborative benefits: “Ruby has a strong connection with Australians from all walks of life, and connects with thousands of young consumers through fashion, music and social media,” said Jim Parissis, General Manager Marketing at JVC.”Partnering with her across our portfolio will drive high awareness and interest in our products among a younger audience.”

In addition their new youth ambassador will also appear in a number of additional marketing activities as she promotes the brands range of audio, visual and car entertainment products.
