Deemed to risqué to air in the US market in 2008 the 'Guitar Hero: World Tour' ad featuring Victoria’s Secret model Marissa Miller doing a Tom Cruise ‘Risky Business’ parody has surfaced online.
Bearing in mind the key component of the parody – Tom Cruise’s white shirt – has been removed, this ad is as much about the underwear (presumably Victoria’s Secret branded) as it is about the game. The question is now 'why has it resurfaced'? 'why did it take two years?' and 'which brand has more to gain from it gaining widespread viral traction now?'
