When I was young I would have killed for a decent tree house. You know, the all American standard in so many US kids movies with the same square footage as an average London flat.
Monkey Shoulder Whisky is setting up its distinctly wooden campaign at The Big Chill music festival this weekend, as it brings its experiential ‘Monkey Shoulder Tree House’ to the event for a second year
The brand will use the ultimate treetop hideaway – set in the The Enchanted Garden sectiom of the festival - to run graffiti workshops (where visitors can design their own limited edition festival T-shirts) and host mixologists cocktail creation sessions. Those taking time out from the main event can also play board games carved on whisky barrel tables and soak up music from a selection of DJs.
Apart from offering festival goers the ability to relax in a massive tree house there is also a linked message to the heritage and creation process of the product, with the tree house constructed out of sustainable timber and reclaimed whisky barrels. It’s a nice touch that subtly brings the focus of the venue back to the product.
