Pot Noodle are back again with yet another ad in their long-running Steve and Digger’s musical world series. This time they have enlisted the help of The Blackout Crew - the group infamous for the club track ‘Put A Donk On It’ – to promote the new Sticky Rib Chinese takeout flavour and encourage the nation to ‘Rib It Up’. Music video veteran Joseph Kahn put the ad together. He was most recently responsible for Kylie Minogue’s ‘For the Lovers’ music video.
As ads go it’s brash and in your face, but also briefly satisfying – so ultimately a perfect fit with the product’s “instant gratification” message.
