It might seem as though Summer is over, but Courvoisier is flying the flag for the season with a Foursquare promotion linked to 15 bars across London.
Users of the location-based social network will be able to check into 15 London bars serving Courvoisier cocktails in limited edition punch bowls.
Everyone who checks in to the venue will compete (against other punch-drinking Foursquare users) to win their own punch kit. All they need to do is take the most imaginative picture with the punchbowl and upload it to Twitter or Facebook. One winner will be chosen each night.
Participating bars include Aragon House, Camino, Lost Angel, Saf and The Hawksmoor.
The UK's marketing manager for Courvoisier, Janice Mcintosh explains: “By embracing social media such as Facebook, Twitter and now Foursquare, not only are we building deeper relationships with our consumers, we are also growing the numbers of Cognac drinkers by appealing to a younger audience.”
The overall best picture will win a VIP trip to the Courvoisier chateau in France for two.
This follows Courvoisier’s Architectural Punchbowl project with Bompas & Parr, which saw the brand create the world’s largest ever punchbowl - a four tonne cocktail in the Sierra Leone Embassy building.
