Coca-Cola’s Facebook page has close to 6M fans, so Dusty and Michael – the page’s originators from the heart of Coca-Cola in Atlanta - wanted to thank the first ever Facebook Fan in person.

It’s a humorous, yet telling nod to the fact that even the very biggest of brands starts close to home when seeding a fan page.  However, on a more serious note could brands be doing more to reward the commitment of their ‘real’ early adopters?  Do they still feel valued when their brand community goes stratospheric in terms of users?
