Bring buzz to Marriott International’s acquisition of Starwood Hotels. The acquisition made it the largest hotel chain the world, and we wanted to create an installation that would mirror Marriott's newfound depth and breadth of hotels.
FRUKT created a larger-than-life map in Rockefeller Center, NYC. A location that has been dubbed as the media hub of the world. The 44 x 88’ ft. map featured 30 RFID push pins in addition to 1,500 other Marriott hotel locations. Those who linked their rewards programs had the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes taking place on the map. Prizes varied from a 5 day, all inclusive trip to Taiwan, to a set of concert tickets of their choice at Madison Square Garden. Social influencers Chrissy Tegan and Casey Neistat stopped by the map to amplify social media presence and encourage followers to check out the map. On the day of the event, over 60 9.5’ft pins were placed outside of Marriott properties across NYC to raise awareness of the larger than life map & sweepstakes.
