Since launching in 2021, Body Movements Festival has become one of East London’s hottest electronic music festivals, inviting some of the best LGBTQ+ DJs, queer collectives and club nights, both in the UK and internationally, to take their stages. DJs, collectives and club nights include the likes of Herrensauna, LSDXOXO, Queer House Party, Inferno, Pxssy Palace and Technomate.

Homobloc is the North’s favourite long standing LGBTQ+ club night. Originally known as Homoelectric back in 1997, the club night relaunched as Homobloc in 2019, and it generally has a impressive line-up including world-renowned DJs such as The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon and HAAI all guesting, as well as Northern-based queer collectives such as Gut Level Sheffield, Not Bad For A Girl and Bad Taste.

The Divine is an exciting new LGBTQ+ venue that’s opened in Dalston, East London. The venue is a drag bar, performance venue and nightclub, hosting drag performances and LGBTQ+ art events during the weeknights, and ticketed shows and a free disco night at the weekends.

MARICAS is a Spanish FLINTA (female, lesbians, intersexuals, non-binary and trans) collective, club night and record label based in Barcelona. It was created in 2018 by three queer womxn: Eloisa Blitzer, Gina Guasch and house techno DJ, ISAbella, due to a lack of safe spaces for queer women in the electronic music world. MARCIAS has become a household name in the Barcelona queer scene, and has taken their party to over 25 cities across Europe. Check their label Bandcamp here to support their music.
